Hello, we're the Vohs family, and we live on a small ranch in North Dakota. Mini dachshunds have been part of our lives for over 20 years, and it's truly a dream come true to now raise our own long-bodied, floppy-eared puppies right here at home.
We are ethical breeders who care for each puppy like a member of our family. Nutrition, early socialization, and hands-on love are priorities in our program. We're small operation, but happily and intentionally growing.
We hope to be a part of your family's puppy journey and look forward to helping you welcome a short-legged bundle of joy into your home!
-How It All Started-
It all began 22 years ago when my boyfriend at the time (now my husband) asked if I wanted to go see his aunt's puppies. The moment I laid eyes on them it was all over- I was instantly in love. A week later we scraped together enough money and brought our tiny floppy eared girl, Gia, home.
Throughout her 20 years of life, YES 20 YEARS we got married, had two daughters, moved to North Dakota, and much more. Her favorite thing was to load up in the pickup truck and head out for an adventure. thanks to Gia, I've become a devoted fan of the dachshund breed. She was truly the best companion. RIP my girl.
